Barcelona - please take note

Living in Barcelona you will have noticed that

on Tuesdays

(on Wednesdays also) citizen leave next to the garbage container ( they do not throw it inside) practical and still useful items. They may have a little damage ( repairable) but mainly are in a quite good vintage (2nd hand) shape. Those items deserve a new life in another home - in your home.

Look what I saw last week:

During my years in Barcelona I brought some useful items home
(my boyfriend thought different though, lol):
-a green metal shelf from a farmacy which found a new home in my bathroom
-small drawers which I painted and gave new knobs

-a huge plastic shelf from a barber shop which I use for my shoes
- several wooden boxes formerly for ham and wine which end up hanging from my wall as shelves

- 2 red chairs which are popular with my cats

So pay attention next Tuesday and find your own vintage bargain next to the container.

Don´t think twice and take it right away. It will be gone before you can say "Jack Robinson".

Yours sincerely,

mrs_bargainhunter

P.S. All items I brought home we checked and cleaned carefully... of course.
